The Atlas Defense Maritime Pry Bar is a compact, multi-purpose utility tool built for everyday carry, field work, and hard use. Each tool begins as marine-grade 316 stainless steel, precision laser cut before moving through a series of finishing steps to create a durable, functional working tool.
After cutting, each pry bar is hand finished to reduce laser edge artifacts and refine the working surfaces. The front pry bevel is then ground by hand, forming a functional working edge optimized for prying, scraping, and general utility tasks. The tools are then tumbled to smooth the overall surface before being sent to Emerald City Cerakote, where they receive their protective Cerakote finish.
Because the tools are laser cut and individually hand finished, minor surface characteristics from the cutting process may remain. These marks are cosmetic and part of the manufacturing process, giving each piece a slightly unique appearance while maintaining full functionality.
Every pry bar is manufactured in the United States and individually finished.
Material Considerations
The Maritime Pry Bar is manufactured from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, chosen specifically for environments where corrosion resistance is critical. Salt, moisture, and humidity can quickly degrade standard steels, while 316 stainless offers significantly improved resistance in these conditions.
Because 316 stainless prioritizes corrosion resistance over hardness, it is not as hard as tool steels or abrasion-resistant steels such as AR500. Under heavy prying or abusive use, cosmetic wear, edge deformation, or minor bending may occur. These characteristics are a normal trade-off when using corrosion-resistant materials.
The Maritime Pry Bar is designed for controlled prying, scraping, and general utility tasks — not as a demolition tool.

Batch Production
The Maritime Pry Bar is produced in small batch runs.
Each run is manufactured in controlled quantities to maintain quality standards during the finishing process. A limited number of units from the first production batch will ship in a metal storage tin.
Built from corrosion-resistant marine-grade stainless and finished for durability, the Atlas Defense Maritime Pry Bar is designed to be carried, used, and relied on in real-world conditions.
